My DNA Monster

Today we learned about the molecule DNA, Deoxyribonucleic Acid, our unique recipe that makes us look like we do!

We used our knowledge of DNA and recessive and dominant traits to create our own unique DNA monsters.

Here is my DNA table of traits and a picture of my DNA monster.

What I like best about my monster is making my monster.

Fake Whitebait fritters.

Hi This term for our novel study, Mrs A read us Whitebait Fritters which is a novel written by a Kiwi author Kingi McKinnon.  My favourite part in Whitebait Fritters was when the boat when the boat tipped over.

To wind up our learning we decided to make some fake whitebait fritters because we can’t afford to buy real whitebait. We used grated potato to take the place of whitebait and mixed it with eggs and onions. They were really tasty. Then we had to write out the recipe , put it on a Google Drawing and add some images.
